In the fall, Kyushu charm with red woods surrounding the hot springs and vast fields of reeds at the foot of the volcano.
Kyushu (Sino-Vietnamese vowel Jiu Zhou) is one of
four islands in the southwest of Japan. Kyushu attracts tourists with the natural
beauty and diverse seasons. There is blue sea in the summer, white snow on the
mountains in winter. Spring with green trees and yellowed charm in the fall.
Kyushu consists of the provinces and cities:
Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki, Kagoshima. In particular,
the city of Fukuoka has direct flights from Vietnam, 5 hours from Tokyo and 3
hours from Osaka if you go by bullet train Shinkasen. There has been a number
of travel companies which began to exploit new tour programs to explore many
places of Kyushu.
In early December, Kyushu is still filled with red yellow
maple leaves so it attracts many tourists.
Many visitors enjoy playing under the yellow foliage.
Kyushu is very suitable for people who love nature, resorts and exploring
traditional Japanese culture.
On the journey about 2 hours from Nagasaki to Unzen,
visitors will cross the plateau to reach the hot springs resorts.
Kyushu has a temperate climate; many volcanoes like
Unzen, Aso are still active so they should create many hot springs. Tourists
come here often have onsen bath - a type of traditional Japanese bath.
Another attraction not to be missed is the city of
Beppu, located on the east coast of Kyushu. Beppu is a city famous with more
than 3,000 hot spring resorts which have hot water, mud ponds.
The next destination is the city of Kumamoto. The
main attractions include Kimamoto castle and Suizeji park. Kumamoto is also a
gateway to the National Park Aso Kuju.
Visitors are given the paper craft cranes by locals
– a symbol of good luck.
You can stop at the temple to pray for good luck
like the indigenous people.
